A simpler leaf
The recognisable leaf remains, but its construction is reduced to a cleaner silhouette and a single confident internal line. It reads more clearly at small sizes and is easier to reproduce.
Featured identity study
A familiar gardening logo refined into a clearer, more confident identity—without losing the leaf, the green palette or the recognition already built around them.
The brief
The starting point already had the right idea: a leaf, a local service and an established green palette. The job was not to replace those familiar signals. It was to make them work together with more clarity and control.
Northline is the featured identity study used on this website to demonstrate Logo Revolution’s approach: retain the useful equity in an existing mark, resolve what is holding it back, then create a foundation that can be applied consistently.
Each change answers a practical problem in the original mark. Nothing is added simply to make the logo look different.
The recognisable leaf remains, but its construction is reduced to a cleaner silhouette and a single confident internal line. It reads more clearly at small sizes and is easier to reproduce.
The business name becomes the visual anchor. A sturdier, more open letterform gives Northline greater presence while preserving the approachable character of the original.
“Gardening Services” supports the name instead of competing with it. Spacing and alignment create an obvious reading order from name, to service, to supporting message.
The horizontal arrangement is compact, balanced and suitable for everyday uses such as vehicles, workwear, quotations, signage and digital profiles.
The refined mark establishes a repeatable visual language: a defined palette, controlled typography and a logo structure that can be used consistently.
The evolved identity still belongs to the same business. The difference is that its visual quality now supports the professional service behind it—and gives future branded materials a consistent place to begin.
This area is ready for additional logos and case studies as the portfolio grows. Each project can link through to its own before-and-after story.
